For many proud Americans, it would be considered a “Bucket List” kind of moment, and that was certainly the case for a pair of retired Labor Tradesmen who recently participated in a Wreath Ceremony in Washington D.C. at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Al Segur, a retired Roofer and former secretary/treasurer of the Northwest Ohio Building Trades, and Ken Roach, a retired business agent for IBEW Local 8, were joined by Dave Kolbe, the legislative director for the International Association of Iron Workers, for the solemn tribute.

Segur and Roach, who are both Vietnam War veterans, descended the steps to formally present a wreath, followed by the playing of “Taps.”
