ACT Ohio continues to serve Ohio’s Building Tradespeople, construction unions, JATC Apprenticeship schools, and District Trades Councils during the statewide response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Visit ACT Ohio’s dedicated COVID-19 Resources page for ongoing updates and FAQs.

Here are several important links for Ohio Building Trades workers to keep handy over the coming weeks/months while we fight the COVID-19 outbreak:

  • As always, www.Coronavirus.Ohio.Gov and the Department of Health hotline, 1-833-4-ASK-ODH are great resources for those who have questions.

  • With the Election being delayed due to COVID-19, voters may request absentee ballots on VoteOhio.gov

  • Additionally, Ohioans can apply for unemployment online 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at unemployment.ohio.gov. It’s also possible to file by phone at (1-877-644-6562) or TTY at (888) 642-8203, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Please contact the ACT Ohio staff for government affairs, legal, research, communications, marketing and any other questions/services we can provide as it relates to COVID-19: info@actohio.org or 614-228-5446.

ACT Ohio and our members thank Gov. DeWine and Lt. Gov. Husted, their cabinet, and our state’s officials; Dr. Amy Acton and all state and local public health officials and staff; county and local leaders; Ohio’s public safety workers; Ohio’s healthcare workers; Ohio grocery, pharmacy, and service industry workers; and all of the Ohio Building Tradespeople, Apprenticeship Educators, and Signatory Contractors who are reporting to work every day to keep Ohio moving forward during the COVID-19 outbreak.
