ACT Ohio staunchly supports the collective bargaining rights of Ohio’s construction workforce because collective bargaining allows working people to join together as a single voice on the job to negotiate on a level playing field for the wages, benefits and conditions they deserve.

Collective Bargaining enables working people who are union members to negotiate with their employers to determine their terms of employment, including pay, benefits, hours, leave and safety policies. ACT believes that Collective Bargaining is a fundamental right of all working Ohioans, given to them by law, because it is an essential tool with which working men and women are able to improve their living standards and provide for their families.
